The Story
Built
through
loss.
Ahmad is my cousin. He was killed by gun violence in 2001.
I carried the pain quietly for a long time.
Then COVID came. Philly started bleeding. It felt wrong to stay quiet. So I told my story. Made some t-shirts. Invited people to share in it, not just read it. And the response told me everything I needed to know.
A few years later, I went all in.
What started as garments became something more. Storytelling. Space opening. Foundation laying. Through the work I found something I didn't expect — other builders needed help doing the same thing.
Claiming who they were. Naming what they built. Saying out loud why it should exist. Telling their story in a way that was finally, completely theirs.
So Ahmad's Body Shop has become a creative studio — one that helps builders tell stories so human they're undeniable. Named for him. Built through loss. Through beauty. Through legacy.
NorthStar is the first offering. Your story, drawn out. Your foundation, shaped. Yours, to navigate by.
